In our store is another neat sporterized find in this Spandau 1905 Stamped Mauser Gewehr 98. This rifle has had a Lyman peep sight installed and overall is presented in a pretty tidy package. While nothing here is replacing the historical significance of a pre war original Spandau Gewehr 98, to be able to find a stamp from that early is still a neat find. As far as proof markings and other stampings go we will leave them to the experts to decipher.
